Only criticism is...
1) we know that sun on Mars does not look like that
2) those lamps would be blown away on landing or takeoff

Not necessarily, they could extend into the foundation.

OK, should SpaceX install a GPS system with satellites around Mars? Same with communication satellites. Some satellites should be installed between earth and Mars at 90 degrees to the sun for communication when Mars is on the other side of the sun. Maybe they can get NASA to help pay for this if they want to go to Mars also. Or maybe other countries or companies for rides to Mars.

Some fantastic renders there. Think the attached is worth sharing, especially given Elon’s (half-) jokey remark, at the Tesla model Y reveal, about a Tesla on Mars in 10 years.

Youtube mirror of Musk's Flint talk. There's a new SS launch and Mars landing animation around the 15 minute mark. There's the concept art posted above as well as a few shots of people floating around in front of the window / doing hydroponics.

The video and most pictures are of the carbon fibre SS.

Here's my best versions after a little work in Photoshop

The original partial-quality image I 'acquired' was like ~1500x1000 so I upscaled 2X and filled in some of the edges. Bonus slightly higher res Mars entry image, as well.

Per SpaceX's copyright policy, anyone and everyone should feel free to share these, despite that fact that SpaceX itself has only shared them with one outlet (PopMech) in an inaccessible format thus far.
