Am I missing something, is there a message in the vents?

This is not valid Morse code, but it can be played anyway.
Output:

#DO

gives them something to do??

I noticed that Ship 34 did not have the flaps tied back during transit to the pad.  Is this a new procedure ??

If you play it backwards, however...

I have been impressed with how reliable SpaceX has been with launching at the start of the window with Starship.

However, I have a feeling there could be a scrub today.  With the way Flight 7 'ended' and how quickly the ship was rolled and stacked it feels more scrubby than normal.

If it does fly today and successfully that will say a lot about this program and that it's making progress.

We very much need orbiter missions to Neptune and Uranus.  The cruise will be long, so we best get started.

There was no WDR either.

Unfortunately I will not be able to watch today's attempt live, and I've heard that you cannot watch the stream after it's been streamed via x.com.

Any ideas on how I can watch the stream after the fact please?

Hmm.. I just scrolled through the x.com history of spacex posts and it appears that you can watch previous streams. Maybe they fixed the issue?

Maybe they'll have a Klingon audio channel.

Dang it! I hope they track down the cause of the scrub and get it sorted soon.

On their livestream, the SpaceX team mentioned "Mars" multiple times and mentions "Mars and beyond" at least once. They never mentioned the Moon.

HLS milestone payments still ongoing for 2025...

In another note, already expected people raging (without sarcasm) over the decision to skip WDR even though there's no meaningful difference...

I've bookmarked each Starship launch stream in an X folder (except Flight 1, which doesn't seem to have an X stream). It's a lot easier to go back and watch them again.

Elon states that "Too many question marks about this flight".  My personal opinion: They were trying out new processes to bring a vehicle out to the pad, hook it up, and load&go.  IDK if that's truly the case, but I think SpaceX found some new weaknesses in their GSE equipment (maybe) and processes (maybe) that they'll strengthen and be better off in future launches.

He also says "Best to destack, inspect both stages, and try again in a day or two."  So I'm thinking several day delay.  And that's OK.

They fixed a lot of the plumbing in response to flight 7.

Today became the WDR to validate the changes.

Because of that, eliminating WDR is only a schedule risk.
